Karyn Kennedy serves as the Grants Manager at RTW Foundation, where she strengthens the impact of health equity nonprofits across NYC.
Prior to joining RTW Foundation, Karyn held program management roles at Food Bank for New York City and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, leading multi-site community health programs and supporting grant compliance and stakeholder engagement. Most recently, she served as Program Manager at Common Threads, where she managed grant-funded nutrition education programs, built partnerships with schools and community organizations across New York City, and oversaw compliance and reporting for federally funded initiatives. Karyn holds a BS in Community Health Education from Howard University and an MPH in Community Health from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health policy.
